3 items you should identify:
1. Expansion tank filler cap
2. Radiator plug (situated on top of radiator - NOT the drain plug)
3. Coolant fill tower (situated probably on RHS of engine looking from drivers seat) located in heater circuit pipes sitting over RHS valve cover. Fabricated from steel with a plastic cap screwed into steel tower. Procedure:
1. Expansion tank cap and radiator plug removed.
2. Unscrew fill tower cap.
3. Pour mixture of anti-freeze / water *quickly* into fill tower until radiator is full (water will escape from top of radiator because fill tower is slightly higher than radiator).
4. Quickly re-fit tower plug.
5. Start engine (in your climate probably advisable to blank off radiator with plastic sheet or old blanket to stop cooling fan doing it's job) and run until normal operating temp. Top-up with water through top of radiator as necessary.
6. Stop engine and re-fit radiator plug (may need new "O" ring?
7. Re-fit the expansion tank cap.
8. Allow engine to cool (at -20c won't take long - brrrrrrrr!)
9. Check level in expansion tank, top-up as necessary with correct proportion of anti-freeze.
Good luck - temp in UK about +8c and that feels blooming cold!
