Unlikely to be battery related, but have the battery checked anyway.
The most likely cause I can think of, is the plenum chamber is
probably in need of cleaning out, a simple job, just remove the
pipe between the plenum and the air flow meter, and squirt loads of
Carb Cleaner into the plenum, opening the throttle butterfly whilst
doing so, wipe around the opening with a cloth, to take away any
lumps of carbon, then reconnect the hose, you will need to give the
engine plenty of throttle to get it to start. it will run rough for a
few seconds but it will clear up. This normally does the trick, if not
contact me, and I'll think of somthing else.
