You don't say where your from but presumably as your talking about D90 soft-tops your from USA with a NAS90? My Nas90 (didn't make it to the states) came with downright dangerous and terribly uncomfortable sideways facing seats (seats in the broadest sense). One week after purchase they were stripped out and discarded. I managed to purchase 2 new seats with head restraints and built-in 3 point recoiling seat belts from a customer who modify vehicles as ambulances and fire-engines (incl L-R). These sit partly over the rear wheel arches *facing forwards* with enough space for access through rear door and between seats. They are a bit narrow and the NAS90 removable roof hoop just gets the rear passengers heads, small people OK 6 footers weighing 200 lbs + a bit difficult. I noticed in LROI that there are companies selling seats and one in particular was really neat but can't find it now! Will E:mail when I find it again. Here's one below but nothing special:
