Hi MG/WCB,
Thanks a lot for your advice. I think I use the O/D in the right way, i.e. in 2WD firstly 2nd gear for starting, then 3rd, 4th and finally switch the O/D in position. However, in compare with previously when O/D was not fitted, it's obviously found that the torgue when using 2nd gear to start the vehicle becoming weak and is not smooth as before although it finally does. After the starting of the vehicle, the 3rd, 4th and O/D works ok as normal.

The O/D fitting was done by the mechanic of garage. After the fitting, they have given me back 2 of the gears and said that it's a "MUST" to take out these gears for the O/D fitting. Is that true? I also guess if it is the reason that taking out of these 2 gears causing the weakness of torgue by using the 2nd gear to start the vehicle? Or as per what you said that they didn't undo/doup the rear mainshaft nut?

Looking forward for your value advice.

Best regards,

LCW/Hong Kong
