I want to thank everyone for explaining "center diff. lock" to me. I used it briefly when there was heavy ice and snow on the roads. I know now that I need to be careful when and where to use it. As for my heater problems, I replaced the thermostat and backflushed the heater core and it works great now. The old thermostat was apparantly sticking open and the engine was not reaching proper temp. I installed a 180 degree thermostat and the needle stays about 2/3rds of the way up. Also on the cruise control, I found a bad connection at the speed transducer and repaired the connection and now have cruise control!! Thanks again everyone and Happy Holidays!
