Just glancing through the mail and saw your note. You are right about your assumption - I was refering to the sunroof hatch and not the entire roof. Sorry to hear about the problem although not surprised after seeing the way my beast was put together - not real well. There are many other avenues water enters my vehicle.

I kind of converted the back to a big Labrador kennel anyhow by removing the seats, carpet, etc. and placing the rubber mat from the soft top on the floor. So between the wet Labs (2) and water coming in from God knows where, the back usually is wet. Luckily it is not a daily driver so it has an opportunity to dry out each week before the next outing. However, between the dogs and the mud plus water coming in, it is a real mess after any field trip.
