89RR leaning to right

Posted by Robert Mazur on December 26, 1998 at 09:27:31:

My 89RR developed a "lean to the passeneger side" about 3 months ago. If I am on PERFECTLY level ground, the body stays level. However any slight slope in the road will cause the rig to slouch to the right. It is apparent looking from behind the vehicle, or when inside (I look down to my passenger). I have replaced with Bilstein shocks all around and a new front-right spring. It has much better handling, but still leans. An independent shop told me that since the F and R differentials are shifted to the passenger side of the vehicle, my RR will always lean to the passeneger side...extra weight.

Does that sound right? Is there something else I could check?

Rob (Seattle, Washington)
