Vent lever (far left) should be DOWN (closed)... recirc or ram is fine, I prefer the latter as you don't need to run the fans. Anyway, if some bozo has been working on it, I'd bet thermostat in engine is missing, thus water not hot enough to make heat. Where was temp needle? Another poss is a vent inside heater isn't closing off... this system should blow you out of the car! And what's with the "full-time" bit? Range Rovers are full-time 4wd all the time... Do you mean you locked the center diff? Do so ONLY on slippery surfaces or axle windup will occur. MG
