I was not aware in your earlier posts that the radiator had to be replaced due to being clogged. This could very well indicate that the vehicle was neglected before it came to be in your possession. If the radiator was that clogged, this says volumes about what kind of shape the water passages in the block and heads must be like. If the restriction in the block is bad, this could easily explain the overheating problems you are experiencing. For future reference, if you ever have to replace a radiator again due to clogging, run numerous cans of the most caustic coolant flush you can buy through the system. Sounds as though your system is in dire need of some serious flushing. As for the bearing problem, my only guess is that the previous owner ran the engine hard before you had it, and it finally caught up with it.
