Help! I have been using a local dealership for service and repairs on my '98 Disco for the past four years. After spending $2200 on service (60k) and repair (upper manifold, etc.) less than a month ago, I have two new leaks (head gasket and all three power steering hoses) that the dealership wants another $2000 to repair. Everyone I have talked to says that they are ripping me off and that those things should not have normally occurred. Two questions -- what can I do to educate myself (are there any courses, etc.) on the engine? and does anyone know of any good mechanics around the Denver, CO area?
