I am swaping a 4 L. V8 engine chassis (from a 97 Disco) into a series LR. I do not want to use the alarm feature but i read in the manual that the ECM will not allow the engine to start unless it receives a code from the alarm module. Does anyone know how to get around this? OR what happens in the ECM that disables the engine. The pump relay or? Thanks
