i have a v/2000 discovery II td5 gs. i have been driving no problems, then i had a problem with my battery, i looked in the manual and as the indicator on the battery said, it was done in, i bought a new one here in germany and everything was ok, drove the car yesterday no problems, parked up overnight and when i came out this morning i opened the central locking ok and the interior lights came on, put the key in the ignition turned the key and nothing, for a split second the airbag light came on and then nothing, no other lights at all. i called out ADAC, europes version of the AA and they said there was nothing wrong with my battery. sometimes the indicators flash when opening and locking the doors with the remote key and other times not. the electric windows dont work,

can anyone make any suggestions before i walk into a german garage and they charge me for a new engine when they only changed a fuse.

if anyone can and they require more info please get in touch, even if you think nah wont be that, let me know and i can check it, usually is the silly things that you check last that is the problem.
