| ABS,TC,HDC, module replacement, fault codes Posted by Stephanie M on December 22, 2004 at 09:38:29: LR service dept. checked some fault codes and checked diag. on my 2000 DiscoII. Diagnosis: I need an ABS module(1800.00), and a new air filter cover and intake(150.00) My question is...if I can find an ABS module can I do it myself? It looks like I just have to bleed the brake lines and disconnect the ABS module, set a new one in and refill the brake lines. Is this assumption correct? Does anyone have any advice to offer after doing this themselves? What did you pay for your ABS module and was it new or used? ANy special tools needed? thanks in advance
