Hi Idan, the Td5 has electronic unit injectors controlled by an ECU, the inputs into the ECU from the engine and driver demand circuits, I.E. throttle potentiometer and aircon etc, help the ECU decide how much fuel to deliver and when. I suggest looking at the airflow meter, coolant temp sensor or Manifold pressure sensor to determine whether they are giving the right signals. If you are close to a specialist or dealer, get it hooked up and they will quickly tell you if there is a sensor error or not. (As long as they know how to interperate what they see on the screen!)
