What is this Rover?? Posted by freight on December 17, 1998 at 04:13:27: OK. i cannot find anything on it. Supposed to be ex Hong Kong Police. Long Wheelbase. Stwg. 4 cyl. gas. Weber. o/d. Pwr Steering. LH drive...not RH! # from fire wall..SALLBCMH1AA2199026 # from Frame, rh above shackle leg...same as above. # from eng. 36139841c ( from papers only) not verified, too dark and could not locate. Looks like early '80s, guy says it a 11A, yea right. Already know its in another country other than HK. Lets see how long it takes someone else to figure it out. Freight by the way, its nice, clean, would be real nice in the states!
