It is fairly thin for a grease and fiirly thick for an oil. I found it difficult to get in to the housing as I think I cut the tube too wide - it comes in a sort of toothpaste tube. I think it would not drain easily and that it would be necessary to pull everything to bits to get it out. One of my swivel balls has some tiny imperfections and I am hoping the grease won't leak. I'll keep you posted. Michael
