Recently my wife and I have decided to downsize the family fleet. I own a truck and she a sports coupe. Each has its advantages but neither is practical for our planned move (we need a vehicle that provides some cargo space, some passenger space, and 4-wheel drive). Because of our criteria we have begun to search the SUV market, Range Rovers have caught both of our eyes.

I do not claim to have any "smarts" about Land Rover autos and want to know what site users think about Range Rovers as reliable daily drivers.
1. Are they worth the money from a quality standpoint or do they exist to drain your pocket book?
2. What are the typical flaws from factory (what should I be looking at when it comes to used Range Rovers)?
3. I have found a 1992 Range Rover with close to 70,000 miles on it, how much life does it have left? (keep in mind that my father brought me up to believe that with a good maintaince schedule most vehicles can last to at least 200,000 miles).
4. Do the 1992 Range Rovers have any flaws that I could avoid by selecting a different year of Range Rover.
5. Should I even consider said vehicle?

I am a devout Harley fan, I understand brand loyalty, but in this case I believe that I want the total package. I want a brand I can be loyal to and happy with (quality). I would love to hear from any readers with qualified opinions.
