Manual R380, 3.9 V8 efi. Just drove into Hurricane Frances in N Florida while towing a trailer. Wicked head wind that required quite a lot of power and gear shift on hills. At some point I noticed in 4th (rpm 2000+) and 5th gears that the car had developed an unpleasant vibration (not noticable in 1st, 2nd or 3rd) - have I bent a prop shaft? Or done some other damage? It is especially bad under acceleration, less so when I ease off the pedal or put the clutch in. I had the wheels balanced and rotated to eliminate that.....any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
