I have recently installed a customized snorkel for my defender 110 300tdi and i'm wandering if it is better for the intake duc to face forward or rearward? currently, it is facing rearward. It is made of galvanized steel and like the ones sold by ARB, meaning there is no dust collector and it is open free flow. ALso, would this help in increasing engine performance (bhp)? What can be the other alternatives to increase the bhp? Also, where can i put sound deadening insulation because of the unpleasant noise? Thanks for your time. Take Care. Alex
