Need a rear drop kit for your rover? Ask the Doc

For those of you wanting more suspension travel for the rear of your disco, defender, or range rover there are many options: safari gard, desert rover, and rock ware cones. The doc has seen and sampled all. Safari Gard- sort of rinky dink and tries to drop axle by different sort of mount axle drops only slightly more. Desert Rover-decent. By far and away the best system I've found is the Rock Ware Cone System. This system frees up the top of the rear spring and the cone allows the spring to fall completly out of the hanger 6-6.5 inches. This many inches of travel greatly improves the handling of any rover off road. On a recent open differental test, the cone system enabled the rovers to do twice as many obstacles as previously. Many other companies will post their product as better, however the Dr. has spoken. Let it be know that the Dr. is no way affiliated with Rock Ware. The Doc may be seen as simply a tester of equiptment. Cones are very cheaply priced for what they do (in the hundred $ range). For those interested in pursuing their Doctrine consult Rock Ware in Colorado Springs at (719) 328-0796 Tell him the Doc. sent you
