I've not been around series trucks for a few years but Fairey was purchased by Superwinch so you may want to speak to them about parts - try contacting the uk Superwinch office (the old Fairey plant).
Pros of FWH: 1. reduce wear in front drive (disengages shafts between hub and transfer case in 2wd). 2. slight increase in gas mileage (less resistance as front shafts diengaged) - I stress this is pretty a pretty infinitesmal increase compared to OD.
Cons: 1. They wear out and require maintenance (sometimes at inappropriate moments). 2. Invariably you forget to lock them until the trail gets so bad its unpleasant to get out and deal with locking them (you can also forget about them altogether and get stuck as you effectively only have 2wd even though you have engaged 4wd).
