Hello everybody,

I have just purchased my first RR (a white 93 SWB) and am currently very pleased with it. I have a few questions about the climate control that have been puzzling me. I am pretty sure that there is something wrong, but I am unsure since I am not certain as how it is supposed to work to begin with.

I do not have an owners manual yet, so I probobly have some pretty basic questions.

My current question is about the 4 position switch with pictures of a snowflake, blue/white arrow, 3 arrows in a circle, and a red picture of air entering the hood vent.

I understand that the snowflake is the air conditioning and only seems to come out the front vents.

The 3 arrows in a circle is for recirculating the air inside.

The red picture is for fresh air coming in from over the hood.

What is the blue/white arrow setting for? It seems to engauge something behind the dash periodically and blows out a mist from time to time in the cabin. The mist doesn't seem to smell like anything, it is just puzzling as to its function.

Any input is most appreciated. Sorry for the lengthy post.
