Ok, I had my engine rebuilt, it’s from a 1977 SIII 88. Bored the 2.25 out to .60 over, 2.5L cam, Pierce manifold with a Weber 32/36 DGV, carter electric fuel pump, Petronix electronic ignition and coil, and a header. I am currently at 4500ft above sea level. Also, I am currently in Zimbabwe, where the labor is cheap but they don't have much experience with Weber carbs. I ordered a high altitude jet kit from Webercarbs.com, but it still runs rich. The local shop got some jets from a 2.5 rover engine with a 32/36 jetted for high altitude, but now it seems to run lean. I need help please, any suggestions would be appreciated. I have down loaded allot of info on how to tune the carb but nothing seems to work.
