If you have a Series II/IIA you can go at it one of two ways.... but this depends on the slave mount. The later cars enable you to remove the slave WITHOUT removing the floors, but it takes two of you in order to undo/refit the two 5/16" bolts. If it's a Series II you'll have to remove the floors & tunnel panels. A Series II has it mounted under the bellhousing.
Think about fitting a new slave instead of rebuilding it. Beware... now you'r clutch master may suffer since it's pushing on a renewed slave, think about rebuilding/replacing it at the same time. Make sure you use ONLY Castrol brake fluid, and renew it on a reg basis. MG
