I had a similar problem with my 1983 Stage 1 V8.

I couldn't find a leak anywhere, so I assumed it must be the slave cylinder. As usual with such jobs I put it off for several months. In the mean time I started getting pools of clutch fluid under the pedal.
I replaced the Master cylinder and it sorted the problem. It seems that fluid leaked into the back of the pedal box but couldn't enter the cab due to the seal around the bottom. The fluid was therefore just dripping away to the ground. When the seal was finally eaten through by the fluid, it only then started leaking into the footwell.

Take a look inside the pedal box with a mirror and see if you've got the wet patches of fluid pooling at the bottom.
