To build on Peter's answer:
P1412 = Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction (Bank 1)
This is from the EOBD section of the manual.

From the SAI section:
If the vacuum operated SAI control valves malfunction, the following fault codes may be stored in
the ECM diagnostic memory, which can be retrieved using ’Testbook’:
P1412 is one of these, particulary described as : SAI system fault (LH side) - air delivery not reaching catalysts.
(DS note. The Left Hand side is as viewed from the drivers seat, not from the front of the enngine bay looking backwards!).
The above system faults could be attributable to anything which might prevent air delivery to the exhaust manifolds (e.g. disconnected or blocked SAI delivery pipe, disconnected or blocked vacuum pipe etc.)

As this SAI was also fitted to the Discovery II you may find more information on a site that is specifically Discovery orientated. http://www.discoweb.org springs to mind. Note they have both Discovery and Range Rover Forums, you could try both, although it would be good manners to search the technical articles on the site, and say you have done so, before posting your question.

Good Luck.
