While I love my '98 Land Rover very much, it seems there is always something I have to shake my head at and think "why?" don't even let me get started on the sunroof ! Any way, while washing my Disco this weekend after the return from a safari in CHIKI CHIKI, actually it was just a trail drive in Wisconsin. I noticed a nice amount of mud inside on the carpet by the rear passenger door. The water holes that we had forded where by no means deep but the water definitely reached the bottom of the doors. My main concern was that the weather stripping on the bottom of the door was made up of a short straight section and then continued up both sides with longer sections. So is this normal for there to be two seems at the lowest point of the weather stripping ? Are all discos like this ? And if so why ? It's seems like a somewhat trivial design flaw !!
