Please help me out:

The clutch of my seriesIII LR slips. The engine accelerates, without the car gaining much speed. In high gearing you have to be in fourth gear at 35 km/h. Both the clutch disc and the pressure plate however seem to be ok, according to a car-mechanic. What is wrong with it???
Following question: Without the car running, my system seems bleeded enough. I have quit a lot pressure on the pedal, and oil flow at the bleeding plugs is normal. The master cylinder is a brand new one. When driving however, stopping ability is very poor, and pressure on the pedal misses.
Please help me out!!!!!
