greetings from los angeles: I have a 94 disco with 126,000, you need to look at the general "fit" is it still tight, or is everything loose???????. drivelines/etc. remember if you cannot fix it yourself then be prepaired to set aside at least $150.00 a month for repairs, it is a rich mans toy or a handymans dream. talk to the owner/seller you can tell if they are lying or not. disco's are great i love it but remenber if the red light comes on its to late, you have to catch most problems before they turn into big ones. whern you buy your disco replace items you know are not new, clean out the radiator, replace spark plugs and wires and cap and rotor, its just cheap insurance. find some one that knows "basic" mechanics they are not complicted to fix, if it involves the computer take it in to land rover. it really is basic and most parts rebuilders are shocked at how easy it is to rebuild the parts, land rover wants you to buy new. my water pump was about 45,000 miles old, land rover wanted $312.00, the rebuilder wanted $55.00 with the same guantee as lr. bye
