98 Range Rover HSE - EAS pump running more than it should

Posted by fsufan8 on December 31, 2003 at 17:13:44:

Has anyone had the problem on their late 90s Range Rover HSE or SE where the air pump for the EAS system runs more than it should? I recently had my two front rubber boots replaced (used to adjust the height of the vehicle) and now the air pump runs constantly, only shutting off for less than a minute at a time. My truck is a 1998 Range Rover HSE 4.6 with approx. 77,750 miles on it. It almost seems as if there might be a leak in the lines that transport the air. Just curious .....thanks!
