Anything in the electric ignition could be wet. Take the distributer cap off (if yours has a removable cap) and dry underneath. Then go around and dry off the coils and leads including under the caps. Any electronic ignition units should be dried off.

If you are careful, a hairdrier can do this but take suitable electrical preacutions (fit an RCD (electrical cut off device) to the extension lead where you plug it in the wall. Also, make sure that you do not have any petrol leaks... even so, blow warm air from a distance.

A night in a warn dry garage might even do the trick.
