I have every sympathy with the other respondents.
My LandRover 110 CSW was deliverd new riddled with rust and corrossion, rear seat belts not fitted, A/C not working, headlining sagging, clutch fluid leaking, diff leaking, the straps that hold up the rear seats too short to do anything.
It is only after 11 months of harrassing Land Rover that it went in for 2 weeks of work and came out with many problems still un resolved.

I can forgive Land Rover the occaisional mistake if they were to pull out all teh stops to get it fixed, but the sheer incompetence and couldn't care less attitude from head office is unbelievable. 50 years its taken them to get to this point, to turn an entheusiast who was looking forward to owning his own part of the dream, subjecting him to a nightmare and smugly inviting more suckers to buy the same!

Would you belive it, Land Rover customer services when told that I had expected my vehicle to have been through Special Vehicles told me that it would have invalidated my warranty. They had no knowledge of SV!

If you ever deal with customer care which is surely a contradiction in terms in teh case of Land Rover, watch out for Cynthia Hanlon. Pompous female canine is the polite way of putting it (I hope I am not going too far on what appears to be a respectable notice board).

two years ago I wanted a Land Rover. Now I hope the wretched organisation sinks!
