If you have put in new liftres and rockers I would have put in new pushrods however I don't see this being the cause of the ticking noise. Were the heads brand new or reconditioned/exchanged???? I would believe the lifters are hydraulic with no valve lash adjustment?? Is this correct??? Cheers
