My disco sets a check engine light and the main code is a misfire on cyl.6. It has 181k,had the valves replaced at 155k,just put in new ngk plugs,wires from LR dealer. when under a load going uphill it will start to shudder like it did when the valves were sticking only worse I think. It does have an aftermarket fuel pump which carries more than enough pressure to feed the fuel regulator. the coils look fine tho they are hard to see stuck behind the motor and since one coil feeds 2 wires if it were bad would it not cause 2 plugs to misfire? One final note I'm tired of replacing parts that are good.
