Clearly it will cost you a load of money to make a "real" 110 out of a 109. Many of the panels are the same (not roof or windscreen), but the frame, suspension and drive train are different. The parts always cost more than the whole and I doubt it would save you much over purchasing a second-hand "grey market" or NAS 110 here...and it may have ramifications for DOT regs? On the other hand you could just put a 110 grill and hood on, but then you have a weird hybrid....in my opinion far better to retain a good quality S3, which is a classic and very capable truck in its own right, or get the 110.
