Having experimented with many, all alternator conversions end up pointing to the use of a GM alternator with a built in regulator. The newer ones have been changed, so most of my conversions are with about a 1978 thru 1992 vintage rebuilt alternator. Available in many amperages, double pulleys usually have higher amperages. Several different ways to do mounting, only one way to do wiring. Contact me for details. |
