Read back about 2 months when I relayed the saga of Big Si's 1983 Defender 110 which went from 2.25 diesel to 300 Tdi and then to 200 Tdi. The problem with 300 TDi's was sorted around 1997. If you have a pre 97 300 TDi with over 50K miles it has probably broken and been repaired or it hasn't broken and will be good for 200K miles. Don't know what L-R policy is but he who shouts loudest usually gets a warranty claim!
