A year ago, the cambelt of my '95 110 (300tdi) snapped.
The result, as you can imagine, was a big engine trouble.
The repair was carried out at LR'S expense partially,
me I had to pay 25 per cent, still a small fortune.

Now a LR specialist told me that snapping cambelts are a well
known fault of the 300tdis caused by a weak fixture of the generator.

He also told me that LR normally bear all the costs in that case.

Any fellow sufferers ? How much did it cost you ? Is it really a
known fault ?
