Turn-key reliability is not it's strong point and with 105K miles on the clock this particular vehicle is going to be in need of some major service parts soon - even if it has got full service history. I love my RR - but it comes with a hefty maintenance bill and lots of niggling faults. It seems as soon as you get one thing fixed, something else goes. Mine's got 134K miles on the clock and is on it's second engine and has had many other parts replaced. In fact, it's a bit like the fisherman's knife - 3 new handles and 4 new blades! (Cracked blocks and blown gaskets are a common occurance with these cars). I'm prepared to put up with all the problems because no other car fulfills my needs quite as well as the RR, and I have a good local Land Rover specialist 10 mins away which means it's not a major inconveniance when I need repairs and service. I'd give it very careful consideration....
