| D90 Td5 - Clutch pump failure! Posted by Glam on April 21, 2003 at 04:01:09: Hi, all I've suffered 2 clutch pump failures within 18 months of owning my 2001 D90 Td5. Many of my mates in the club also has the same problem, the main pumps failing within 6 months of usage (about 15-20,000 km on average), so this is no isolated 'Friday' vehicle. The local agent had silently (graciously?) replaced them on all occasions under warranty, but how long will this go on? Does Land Rover have a solution? they issue a general recall since this concerns a safety issue? I've had the clutch refusing to disengage even at full clutch lever depression. Really exciting, that, coming to the lights! |
