I have got a series 2, 64 model long wheel base ex army with a 173 holden motor with an original
gearbox which is "Stuffed"
This gearbox needs replacing. I am recieving conflicting opions about what to put in.
I have heard that the original landrover boxes are not reliable.
What other makes can I drop in and what would you recomend.

If you can help or direct me in the right direction for more info I would be grateful
