Disco CD players

Dear Forum,
I've jsut bought a new Discovery; is there any forum knowledge on
which CD player will just "plug-in" to the chassis harness; I assume a Pioneer unit would be the logical marriage to the "Pioneer" control head-I'd prefer to pay $300 vice $500+ for the gen-u-whine LR unit;please advise with comments and/or suggs...thanks.Shep
