Well, looks like I am about the only one trying to help out on the LRX BB. There are a couple of things that I would try first. Check and see if oil pressure is much higher when cranked than when it has warmed up for a while. The oil you are running may be too thick at start-up. If is very cold where you live, you should be running 5W-30 engine oil. I would probably also run some injector cleaner in the gas tank. Is your engine taking a while to warm up? You may need to check the thermostat. Also, I would consider installing an engine block heater. If you go to britrest.com, there is a link to a company that makes block heaters for landrovers. As for the anti-freeze, the color makes absolutely no difference. If you have to have green antifreeze, go to NAPA. The NAPA brand antifreeze is green. You should mix 50/50, before pouring in the radiator. Well, hope some of this helps. Please post what you find.
