This 98 Disco has the 4.0 engine and is US Spec. As far as twin spark, I'm not sure what you mean. Its distributorless (if this helps). The stepper motor on this engine was actually relocated from the back of the plenum to the front, just before the throttle butterfly, and sits to the right of the TPS, which is also before the butterfly. Also, this relocation somehow made LR decide to do without the housing, so the stepper motor now bolts onto the throttle body directly with just a paper/plastic gasket. I've added Dirko to it, so to avoid possible airleaks. Your NAS90, I would imagine, would have the same set up as my 95 4.2 LWB, with the stepper on the back of the plenum (this I will definitely take apart and reseal, to be safe.)

When I did all the seals on the top end of the engine, I made sure all the connections were cleaned with compressed air. As for the AFM, I used my aunt's, which is identical, her Disco is a 97, SAGEM AFM, and no leaks and good connection.

I actually got the new TPS in today, but Roversnorth sent the wrong one, they sent a TPS with the wiring, which is what my 95 LWB uses, they suck! I just returned it and ordered from DAP, they also charge half the price of Roversnorth. So, now I have to wait again. I'll let you know, thanks.
