I've got an unusual problem with my 1986 3.5l range rover at the moment. When you drive the car from cold all is fine for as many miles as you want but if I stop the car and engine after a few miles and the engine is not quite warm when you start it again the engine behaves like a complete dog, barely idling at all and engine racing up and down making the car buck & jump when at low speeds. When the throttle is pushed down it splutters but eventually picks up and when the engine reaches 2000rpm plus the power seems to come back again.
Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.
