Check there are no cracks or wear around the stud holes and no damage to the wheel studs. Luckily Land Rover studs are enormous and rarely break. The correct torque is 30 to 38 ft.lbs. The main thing is that the nuts are the locking type and are relatively new. I put some back yesterday and they are somewhat awkward to tighten. I jack up one wheel so I can turn the propshaft to get the spanners in the right spot. Things may have come loose because of the vibration of the Perkins engine. They are not as smooth running as the standard engine. Suggest you run around under the vehicle and tighten everything in sight. Michael
