Thats my choise in a SW with four (5) doors. Additions would be power steering (someday I may get it but I don't feel it is needed as my city driving and parking is less than 5%) Also add parabolic springs for a great ride and if it doesn't already have power brake it could use them too. For your highway driving an overdrive or high ratio intermediate gear for the high range in the transfer box would be good but not needed.
