The only real trick is the mark the tie rod sleeve to the tie rod shaft then count the number of turns to screw off. When you fit the new one, screw it on the same number of turns. This will keep the toe -in/toe -out very close.
As there are manufacturing tolerances, it won't be exact, so a wheel alignment will be required (just a toe-in/toe-out as caster and camber won't be disturbed).
