I have been bitten by the Range Rover bug and have located a 1993 (60K miles)and a 1994 (80K miles) LWB Rover. I have heard (and read) Rover horror stories but have also read that some people really love their Rover. What is the truth? I do not mind maintenance and repairs that are reasonable, but I do need a vehicle that will not constantly break down or be in the shop. I have owned Volvos and currently drive a Mercedes (too expensive to have the dealer maintain). I will buy a 4wd for hunting, fishing etc. and like the way the Rover drives. Am I going to be disappointed? Does anyone have personal experience with a 1993 RR LWB?
