Every time I read stories like this I wonder how you bought the car in the first place. Rust on a 97 car? Overheating, Air-con faults Battery draining. I would hazard a guess you have bought a crash damage repaired (badly) car. If this is not the case then this car needs to be back to your Land Rover dealer. No car should have this many faults in the first year of its life , whatever the purchase price.
